Gradient Tumor Microenvironment-Promoted Penetrating Micelles for Hypoxia Relief and Immunosuppression Reversion in Pancreatic Cancer Treatment

Time:2023/6/14 23:35:59 Views:188

Recently, we developed a hypoxia-responsive nanomicellar drug delivery system for pancreatic cancer microenvironment, which can respond to the hypoxic microenvironment of pancreatic tumors and enhance the penetration of the material into the internal tumor while preserving the external matrix. The drug delivery system achieves precise treatment of pancreatic cancer by maintaining the integrity of the external matrix and limiting the metastasis of the internal tumor. At the same time, micelles can reverse the degree of hypoxia in the microenvironment by disrupting the redox balance in the tumor region, and improve the chemotherapeutic effect against pancreatic cancer in multiple ways. This study enriches the understanding and knowledge of the factors influencing pancreatic cancer chemotherapy and provides new design concepts for future pancreatic cancer treatment.
